Flexible Fiber Felt for Insulation, Sealing and Electrical Isolation

Alumina Oxide Ceramic Fiber is a flexible high-temperature felt material used for thermal insulation, sealing, and electrical insulation. Its flexible structure allows it to conform to furnace doors, expansion joints, covers, and equipment connection areas where a rigid board may not fit the installation space effectively.

The product is particularly suitable for locations that require filling, wrapping, or adaptation to changes in equipment structure. It can be used for furnace door and expansion joint sealing, insulation and electrical isolation in instrument heating systems, high-temperature gaskets, and insulation in glass or enamel production equipment.

Other listed applications include ladle covers, hot blast furnaces, and wear-resistant areas inside furnaces.

Clear Material Data for Grade Selection

Three grades are available: NC1260, NC1400, and NC1600. Their classification temperatures are 1260°C, 1400°C, and 1600°C respectively.

All grades have a bulk density of 150–250 kg/m³. Alumina content increases by grade, from 45% for NC1260 to 52% for NC1400 and 70% for NC1600.

Permanent linear change after heating also differs. NC1260 is below 1.3% after 24 hours at 1000°C. NC1400 is below 1.5% after 24 hours at 1150°C. NC1600 is below 2.0% after 24 hours at 1500°C.

These values give buyers a practical basis for evaluating dimensional stability after continuous exposure to heat.

Fiber Production and Felt Processing Experience

Nengcheng Crystal began with crystal fiber cotton and fiber blanket products and gradually developed production capabilities for fiber boards, modules, and vacuum-formed products.

The company has 45 employees, with personnel covering material development, production processes, quality control, and technical service. This allows the production process to connect fiber raw material selection with felt processing.

For furnace door sealing, ladle cover insulation, or equipment electrical insulation, technical staff can discuss the operating temperature, installation position, and required flexibility before recommending a grade.

This helps reduce the risk of using a temperature grade that is too low or selecting a material density that does not match the intended application.

Small Orders, Mixed Grades and Inspection Support

Alumina Oxide Ceramic Fiber is available for orders starting from one piece. Different grades may also be combined in a single order. This can support equipment trials, maintenance spare parts, or furnace systems with several temperature zones.

Samples can be supplied before volume production. Customized sample development normally takes 7–15 days.

The factory has dedicated inspection personnel, and finished products are normally checked before packaging. Third-party inspection is also accepted.

After-sales support is handled by dedicated personnel. If transportation damage occurs, buyers can retain photos and videos. The factory can first arrange replacement and then investigate the cause and discuss the follow-up solution.
