Layered Fiber Module for Hot-Face and Backing Insulation
Composite Ceramic Fiber Lining Modules are prefabricated all-fiber lining components designed for high-temperature industrial furnaces and kilns.
The product uses a special composite process to combine fiber materials with different temperature and thermal conductivity characteristics. The structure separates the functions of the furnace-facing layer and the backing insulation layer.
The hot-face side is designed to handle higher temperature exposure, flame, and gas-flow conditions. The rear insulation layer is used to reduce heat transfer toward the furnace shell.
This layered arrangement allows different fiber materials to perform different functions within the same module instead of using one material throughout the complete lining thickness.


Defined Composition and Mechanical Data
The hot-face fiber contains 70% Al₂O₃, while the combined Al₂O₃ and SiO₂ content is 99.5%.
The insulation-layer fiber contains 52% Al₂O₃, with combined Al₂O₃ and SiO₂ content of 99%.
The finished module has a bulk density of 280–300 kg/m³ and compressive strength of 0.6 MPa. Permanent linear change is below 1% after heating at 1500°C for 24 hours.
Composite Ceramic Fiber Lining Modules also provide low thermal conductivity, low heat capacity, low density, thermal stability, structural strength, thermal shock resistance, and erosion resistance. The product can withstand flame and high-temperature gas flow in furnace lining applications.
Applications in Metallurgy, Machinery and Ceramic Kilns
The modules can be used in heating furnaces, heat treatment furnaces, and ladle insulation covers in metallurgy and machinery applications.
They are also suitable for roller kilns, tunnel kilns, pit furnaces, and bell-type furnaces in the ceramic industry.

Custom Anchoring and Non-Standard Furnace Projects
The module contains embedded anchoring components and can be developed according to non-standard furnace structures.
For custom furnace projects, buyers can provide technical drawings or physical prototypes to confirm module dimensions and anchoring structures. Samples can also be prepared before bulk production.
Customized production normally requires 20–45 days. Photos or videos can be supplied during production, and finished products are normally inspected before packaging. Third-party inspection is accepted.
Wooden cases or wooden pallets can be used to protect module corners and embedded anchoring components during transportation.
If transportation damage is found after delivery, buyers can retain photos and videos. The factory can first arrange replacement, then investigate the cause and discuss the follow-up solution.
